Acknowledgement to Country
Ahgon Nubal Nable!
Gurrumbibarra is the land we meet on today. The land that we are proud to call home. We thank the ancestors, spirits and elders for allowing us to gather here. We acknowledge the traditions and custodians of this land. The Wulgurukaba people, and our neighboring Bindal peoples, whos tracks were left behind to allow us to find our way to a future where we live together in harmony and peace. We acknowledge the past of our Australian history and recognise Indigenous peoples’ connection to land, waters and culture. May we respect, accept and foster all our nation’s cultures.
