Classroom Expectations
Classroom Expectations
Follow directions the first time they are given.
Be respectful with your words, actions, and attitude.
Be responsible for your learning, materials, and choices.
Be prepared and ready to learn each day.
Be kind and inclusive so everyone feels welcome.
Help create a safe, focused learning environment.
Our classroom is a place where we learn, ask questions, work together, and encourage one another to grow. The expectations help us create a positive classroom community where everyone feels valued and has the opportunity to succeed. We all play an important role in making our classroom a place where learning can happen every day. These expectations apply everywhere we go: inside our classroom, in the hallway, at specials, on field trips, and at lunch and recess.
Every person deserves to feel safe, respected, and able to learn. Our choices should help create that environment every day.
