Meet the Teacher

Hello! I'm Samantha Han and this is my fourth year at Mayflower Mill. I previously taught 5th and 3rd grade at Mayflower. I'm very excited to be back in 5th grade this year! I am looking forward to being your student's teacher this year, I can't wait to help them grow as learners!

Boiler Up!

I graduated from Purdue University in December 2021 with a degree in Elementary Education (concentration in reading) and a minor in Psychology. I'm currently pursuing a master's degree in Instructional Design and Technology in graduate school. I graduate in March 2026!

Family

My husband and I have been together for almost 8 years. He is a 7th grade World History teacher at Southwestern Middle School. We got married in October 2023. We are expecting our first baby in July 2026.

My Pets

We have a dog and two cats. We got our schnoodle puppy, Jet, in December 2024. Mikey is our orange cat (he's 8), and Daisy is our gray cat (she's 4). There are little stuffed animal versions of them in our calm corner, and students will see a lot of pictures this year.
