Individual Reward System
Students earn a weekly paycheck for their classroom job and receive bonuses and fines for behavior. They can save or spend their earnings on classroom prizes such as candy, sitting at the back table for a day, bringing a stuffed animal to school, a fun sticker, prize box items, or they can buy a ducky reward for the whole class.Â
Whole Class Reward System
Students have the opportunity to work together to earn a group prize. Compliments from adults, a 5 in speical, and whole group successes can earn a ducky. A ducky is added to the bin, and once all have been earned, students will receive the prize they voted on as a whole group. Past classes have opted to have a pajama day, extra recess time, a bonus for the class store, a movie, or arts and crafts. Students get to suggest prizes they would like to work towards, and then they will vote on the one they want.
