Hello! My name is Lisa Goodman, and I will be your child's kindergarten teacher this year.  I am very excited about the upcoming school year! I hope to make your child's first school experience a positive one. I graduated from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College with a degree in Music Education. I later completed my certification in elementary education and special education.  I also have a master's degree in Reading Science from Mount St. Joseph University. This will be my fifteenth year teaching at Battle Ground Elementary. My husband and I have two daughters. Anna graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver with a degree in architecture and is currently working at KJG Architecture as an architect in West Lafayette. Rachel graduated from Columbia College in Chicago with a degree in art and sign language and is a para at Battle Ground.  I love spending time outdoors, working in my garden, hiking, and exploring state and national parks, as well as visiting with family.
