• Aug. 13 - Blue Day - wear something with the color blue

• Aug. 17 - Purple Day - wear something with the color purple

• Sept. 25 - Apple Day - Adult volunteers are needed to help with apple activities

• Oct. 12 - Field Trip to Kent's Cucurbits - Chaperones needed

• Oct. 16 - Pumpkin Day - Adult volunteers are needed to help with pumpkin activities

• Oct. 13-15 - Parent/Teacher Conferences

• Oct. 19-23 - Fall Break - No School

• Oct. 30 - Book Parade - Students are invited to dress as a book character

November

• Nov. 24 - Turkey-rific Tuesday  - Adult volunteers are needed to help lead a learning game for a small group of students

• Nov. 25-27 - Thanksgiving Break - No School

December

• Dec. 3 - Christmas Program at the Long Center

• Dec. 14 - Candy Cane Day - Students are invited to wear candy cane-themed clothing

• Dec. 15 - Reindeer Day - Students are invited to wear reindeer-themed clothing

• Dec. 16 - Santa Day - Students are invited to wear a Santa hat and/or Christmas-themed clothing

• Dec. 17 - Grinch Day - Students are invited to wear green and/or wear Grinch-themed clothing

• Dec. 18 - Ornament Day & Pajama Day - Adult volunteers are needed to provide ornament-making materials and assist students in assembling them. Time: 12:00-1:30 p.m. Students are also invited to wear pajamas to school.

• Dec. 21 - Jan. 5 - Winter Break - No School

January

• Jan. 6 - Students Return

• Jan. 18 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - No School

• Jan. 22 - 100th Day of School** - Special activities are planned to celebrate the day. (Date subject to change if there are any snow days) Students will decorate a shirt with 100 things to wear to school.

• Jan. 29- Tacky the Penguin Day - Students are invited to dress like Tacky the Penguin

February

• Feb. 12 - Valentine's Day Celebration & Fun Friday - Adult volunteers are needed to help facilitate a learning game for a small group of students. Students will also pass out Valentine's cards.

• Feb. 15 - President's Day - No School

March

• March 8 - 11 - Parent/Teacher Conferences and Book Fair

• March 19 - Fun Friday - Adult volunteers are needed to help facilitate a learning game for a small group of students

• March 22 - 26 - Spring Break - No School

• April 23 - No School

• TBD- Field Trip to the Columbian Park Zoo
