• Oct. 17 - Pumpkin Day 12:00-1:30 p.m. Adult volunteers are needed to help with pumpkin activities

• Oct. 13- Field Trip to Kent's Cucurbits - Chaperones needed

• Oct. 20-21 - Fall Break - No School

• Oct. 22-24 - Parent/Teacher Conferences

• Oct. 31 - Book Parade - Students are invited to dress as a book character

November

• Nov. 25 - Turkey-rific Tuesday 12:00-1:30 p.m. - Adult volunteers are needed to help lead a learning game for a small group of students

• Nov. 26-28 - Thanksgiving Break - No School

December

• Dec. 4 - Christmas Program at the Long Center

• Dec. 15 - Candy Cane Day - Students are invited to wear candy cane-themed clothing

• Dec. 16 - Reindeer Day - Students are invited to wear reindeer-themed clothing

• Dec. 17 - Santa Day - Students are invited to wear a Santa hat and/or Christmas-themed clothing

• Dec. 19 - Grinch Day - Students are invited to wear green and/or wear Grinch-themed clothing

• Dec. 20 - Ornament Day & Pajama Day - Adult volunteers are needed to provide ornament-making materials and assist students in assembling them. Time: 12:00-1:30 p.m. Students are also invited to wear pajamas to school.

• Dec. 22 - Jan. 2 - Winter Break - No School

• Jan. 5 - Students Return

• Jan. 19 - Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - No School

• Jan. 21 - 100th Day of School** - Special activities are planned to celebrate the day. (Date subject to change if there are any snow days) Students will decorate a shirt with 100 things to wear to school.

• Jan. 30- Tacky the Penguin Day - Students are invited to dress like Tacky the Penguin

February

• Feb. 13 - Valentine's Day & Fun Friday, 12:00-1:30 p.m. - Adult volunteers are needed to help facilitate a learning game for a small group of students. Students will also pass out Valentine Cards.

• Feb. 16 - President's Day - No School or Make-up day for any snow days

March

• March 16-20 - Parent/Teacher Conferences and Book Fair

• March 20 - Donuts with Grown-ups @ BGE 8:00 am-9:00 am.

• March 20 - Fun Friday, 12:00-1:30 p.m. - Adult volunteers are needed to help facilitate a learning game for a small group of students

• March 23 - 27 - Spring Break - No School

• April 24 - No School

May

• May 1 - Field Trip to the Columbian Park Zoo (date subject to change)
