This is the information shared at our Open House. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it and if you weren't able to make it, you were missed and these slides will catch you up!

The first day back for students will be Tuesday, August 15!

Our Specials Schedule this year will be:

                          Monday - PE (bring shoes)   

                          Tuesday - Music  

                          Wednesday - Computer

                          Thursday - Library (bring books)    

                          Friday - Art

         all from 2:15 - 2:45 p.m.

It's summer!  I'm busy, busy working to get everything ready for our SUPER year together! I'll be excited to meet you in August! You can find answers on my webpage about our classroom or join DoJo when you're ready to ask me specific questions. Until then - Happy Summer!

Time to schedule

Tuesday, November 28 is Group picture day for the yearbook. Scouts and clubs can bring what's needed for their photo!

   Join in the themes next week for some extra holiday fun! Monday is Grinch day! Tuesday is Santa's helper day. Wednesday is "ugly" sweater day. Holiday decor on Thursday and Friday is pj day!

Red Ribbon Week

October 16th - 20th let's join in the fun to show we're saying "NO!" to drugs!

Monday - Wear Red                        Thursday - School Spirit Day

Tuesday - Crazy Sock Day               Friday - (Field Trip)

Wednesday - Hawaiian Day

Our first field trip is scheduled for Friday, October 21st. We'll be traveling through the community including: the Courthouse, Riehle Plaza, the Farmers' Market, Happy Hollow Park, PU Airport, and the Fort Ouiatenon.  Students need a sack lunch and water bottle. Look forward to hearing things you never knew about our community as we learn more about Lafayette!

Fall Fun - Thursday, Oct. 25

Thanks to all of the parents who are working to plan our Fall Party! Ms. Fulk is coordinating details so you should hear from her soon if you've signed up to help. 

Fall Break will be Friday, Oct. 26th & Monday, Oct. 29th.

     Once again parents can register for school online. Use the log in identification and password from your parent portal to access the registration information. Online registration can be completed beginning July 15.

    It is still possible to walk in and register at school also. Those dates are: August 1 from noon - 7p.m. and also August 2 from 8am - 1p.m.

 School begins on Tuesday, August 13th. Parents are invited to Meet the Teacher Night Thursday evening at 6:30p.m. or 7:15p.m. to hear details about our school year.

Back to School is an exciting time and I can't wait to see you!

    Help us keep our garden growing this summer! Click on the calendary to sign up for a time to water, weed, and harvest what you find. Our garden area is on the West side of the building. You'll find tools to use and the ability to water the plants. Please remember to turn off the water and return all the items to leave it looking its best! Thank you for keeping our outdoor classroom going this summer!

    It's time for our final state assessment. ILearn testing window is from April 22 - May 10th. Our testing times will be in the mornings. To help prepare, students can plan on an altered homework routine. Parents please plan for an earlier bedtime and share extra words of encouragement, and a healthy, energizing breakfast as you send them off to school.
