Junior Achievement is a program made up of lessons about our city and is designed to be taught by a parent or community member. The program is well written and comes with training and all the supplies needed. Thank you to Mrs. McCool for agreeing to lead our lessons on Friday before Spring Break.
IREAD-3 is an assessment for all 3rd graders scheduled in March to test reading success. The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) created an item sampler with examples of the types of test questions that may appear on this test. You can view sample questions at:

We have adopted Bane Elementary School in Texas and are collecting supplies to send to them as they eagerly await the start up of their school after the hurricane. Gift cards to teachers, school supplies, etc. are being collected if your family would like to send in donations. We've already made our cards to include to wish them well. Thank you!

We're collecting can food to help those in need in our community. There's a theme for each day, but of course, all donations are appreciated!

Friday - Fruit
Monday - Macaroni (2+ boxes = a mustache for the day)
Tuesday - Tuna (canned meat) (2+ cans = pj day)
Wednesday - wild card - your favorite (wild hair day for any donation)
Thursday - thrift day (store brand) (trick or treat dress up for any donation)
Our last student day will be Tuesday, May 28th. Students will need to bring in a sack to carry home any personal items when we clean out our desks on Friday, May 24th.
