They also used bones from animals to make weapons and other things like fish hooks. The Alabama Indians ate food pretty similar to us today. They ate berries, nuts, rabbits, bison, deer, fish, birds, and many other things as well.

Many Alabama Indians have become part of American culture and are of mixed race. It is estimated that 51.5% of mixed and full blooded Alabama Indians are female and 48.5% are male.
