20 Reasons to Contact Your School Counseling Office
1. Drastic change in friends or a withdrawal from social situations
2. Expresses feelings of sadness and hopelessness
3. Shows signs of stress and/or anxiety
4. Change in eating or sleeping habits
5. Loss of interest in activities
6. Increase in acting out behavior
7. Excessive absenteeism or not wanting to come to school
8. Suspicion of drug or alcohol use
9. Self-injurious behaviors (i.e. cutting)
