I started my career as a school counselor in 1994 as a twenty-something year old at Greenwich High School. Working at GHS with some outstanding people helped shape me into the professional that I am today. After several years of a long commute, I was fortunate to find an opportunity closer to home at Hillcrest Middle School. I started at Hillcrest in 2000-2001 and have called it home ever since.
It is my goal as a school counselor to support all of my students in their pursuit of becoming happy, hard-working, honest and trustworthy individuals. It is my belief that if these qualities are in place during middle school and beyond that it will lead them to living a productive and gratifying life. I am very fortunate to be in a profession where I get to help young people in their quest to become the best versions of themselves. In order for me to be the best counselor I can be, contiuous personal and professional growth will always be a top priority. As much as I enjoy my career, I am a firm believer that it is important to enjoy my time away from it as well. Some of my hobbies include biking, hiking, and anything fitness related. I also enjoy playing, coaching, and watching many sports, especially baseball and basketball. But most of all, I love spending time with my wife and three kids simply enjoying life.
