Thank you for visiting my website.
I am thrilled to be your student’s school counselor. Ever since I was a child I have loved helping. The gratification that I derived from helping an older relative, volunteering at an animal hospital, and doing fundraisers for various charities, motivated me to become a counselor. I studied Rehabilitation Counseling and Human Services at Boston University and then went on to earn my Master’s in School Counseling at Keene State College.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I enjoy traveling, baking, reading, being in nature, listening to music, spending time with friends and family, and making pottery.
Working with middle school students is a rewarding experience for me. Middle school is an important step in the journey towards adulthood; towards becoming fulfilled, productive, compassionate, responsible members of society. The experiences we have in middle school are powerful in shaping who we are as people and what doors are open to us in the future. However, the importance of adolescence rests not just in shaping our futures but also in the experience itself. I believe that adolescence, in addition to often being a potentially tumultuous time, is also a life-stage full of growth, curiosity, “I can do anything” hopefulness, connection, and a sense of adventure. It is my responsibility and my privilege to help your child reach his/her fullest potential. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime.
All the best.
