Master Trainer/ Technician

Roles and Responsibilities

Training other technicians on site and in office

Troubleshooting via photo and video

Problem solving interactions with customers and technicians

Serves as a front-line resource to service technicians through technical support and provides guidance and training to other technicians

Who we are:

A small, environmentally minded HVAC company looking to change our corner of the world through kindness, education, and implementation of environmentally efficient HVAC products and services. We are growing fast, and need to add an important master technician role to our team!

Who you are:

You are an expert in your field. There is no problem or malfunction with an HVAC unit that you haven't seen before or can't troubleshoot. While being very knowledgable you are also a good teacher and can train technicians to think through problems and troubleshoot issues as well. Your role will be comprised of training other technicians on site and in office, and troubleshooting via photo and video interaction with customers.

Your skills include:

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

• Organization and Record keeping

• People oriented and friendly

• Teaching/training ability and knowledge

Our Requirements:

• 20+ years of technical industry experience

• Refrigerant system knowledge including refrigerant piping installation, evacuation and charging of all refrigerant type systems.

• Experience starting and commissioning HVAC equipment such as fans, pumps, and AHU s.

• Familiarity with VRF and Mini Split systems

• Universal License (EPA) necessary for handling and installing refrigerant

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software

• Understanding of control systems including wiring, thermostats, and devices

• Clean driving record

• Valid driver's license

What we provide:

• $1350 per week

• Introductory 90 day trial period

• We are not yet big enough to offer benefits, but are hoping to get there by the end of the year and would be thrilled to offer benefits to our employees!

• Due to COVID-19, this position is work from home, with some time spent in the field. We will provide a company computer, phone, and a $50 a month reimbursement for internet.

• A new office space in the not too distant (vaccinated) future.
