Description of Poster Session Preparation
This will be primarily devoted to work time. The last 40 minutes will be reserved for each group to create a “poster” that documents their PBE work, followed by a gallery walk for everyone to view the posters. (20 minutes to create poster, 20 minutes for gallery walk)
You may wish to do some poster planning today.
Posters should include:
1- Names
2- Focus of work
3- What did you set out to accomplish?
4- Documentation Part I : evidence of your work
e.g. list of Learning Targets, Verification Criteria, Summative Assessment, Unpacking of Performance indicator into skills and knowledge
5- Documentation Part II: evidence of student work
e.g. samples of scored student work, anecdotal -how did students respond to Learning Targets? Performance Indicator
6- Any additional reflections
e.g. Successes? Challenges? What do you want others to know about this work?
Materials- large & small post-its, markers will be provided.
Bring any other materials you would like to use.
