Overall, this project was difficult, but I am glad I experienced it.
There were many moments when I felt stressed or frustrated, especially when tasks were not completed, problems were communicated late, or I felt that too much responsibility was falling on me. However, these situations taught me more about leadership and teamwork than a project that went perfectly probably would have.
I learned how to organise meetings, support actors, communicate with different departments, solve problems, adapt plans and make decisions under pressure.
I also learned more about myself. I realised that I am willing to take responsibility and that I naturally take a leadership role when something needs to be organised. At the same time, I need to improve my delegation, patience and communication style.
The final performance was not perfect, but we completed it and I am proud of the role I played in getting the production to the stage.
The most important lesson I will take from this project is that successful teamwork depends on communication, responsibility and flexibility from everyone. As a future teacher, I will use these lessons when managing my own classroom, working with colleagues and communicating with people from different backgrounds.
