All arrivals must enter by the main Gate, and then Registration, prior to entering the site. Driving is restricted on many parts of the camp which have been previously open to vehicles, and this information is vital to your successful and safe arrival and setup.
This stringent site policy is is due to damage from erosion and subsequent damage from vehicular traffic, and will result in difficulties with scheduling SCA activities, and in reaching your cabin or campsite. Courtesy carts may be available, and secondary parking areas and the second access entrance will be utilized. The area along Immokalee Road is not to be utilized for any parking except the designated Handicapped areas and limited staff access behind the Feast Hall.
The main parking area will be on the 'traditional' melee field due to site restrictions -- the field(s) for the Scots/Welsh War Practice scenarios will be moved to a new and different location or locations. More information will be disseminated soon.
Let us all display with all of our actions and words, the extreme Courtesy that our Dream loves, cherishes and practices like no other group, in the face of these difficulties, and work together to make the logistics of parking and site use run smoothly. And, remember that this site has worked with us to the point of bending certain rules, and that further physical damage (and even if only the perceived threat of damage) to the campground could harm our relationship with this site. Wilma, Bowen, Wildlife, and Beaver Bob have a unisex bathroom with showers on each side. Beaver Bob is reserved for Baronial nobles and Royalty.
The cabins Owls, Hawks, Quail, Flamingo, Kingfisher, and Flickers, around the bathhouse do not have bathrooms. Orioles (labeled "Command Post" on the outside) has a bathroom with a shower.
Some cabins may be under repair and not usable.
The bathhouse is labeled "Boys" but is for unisex use.
