Saturday -- Bard of the Crossroads
The Bard of the Crossroads competition is open to entries from all varieties of performance arts. Singing, storytelling, juggling, dancing, and any other performance art is welcome in the competition! If you have a skill in a performance art, we want to see you there! Entries may be original or the creation of another. The only rule is that your performance should be based on an SCA or Period theme. Any entry is welcome but bonus points will be given by the judges to performances that are new compositions on themes of Love & War throughout history.
The winner of the competition will hold the title "Bard of the Crossroads" for the next year (and will be responsible for running the competition at the next St. Valentines event in 2019).
Come join the fun of the competition by participating as either an entrant or the audience! All are encouraged to attend (and compete)!
...We are pretty sure there will be other "free-form" and planned Bardic activities Friday and Saturday evenings, knowing who our Site Herald is...
