Tuition is the same amount every month, regardless of the number of school days. We have averaged all the school days over the year so families know what their payment is going to be every month, and in order to have a predictable income for the school's budget. Invoices are not prorated for holidays, school breaks, emergency closures, or a student's absence due to illness or vacation. An annual tuition increase is typically effective in August each year, although an emergency tuition increase may be necessary in certain circumstances.
Schedule Changes: Any changes to attendance, including withdrawal, require a written notice at least 60 days in advance, by the first of the month, two months prior to the month the change is to begin, and no refunds are given. Tree House Hollow reserves the right to give families a 60-day notice of disenrollment for requested schedule reductions that create empty spaces which can not be filled with current or new families.
Payment Schedule and Due Date: Monthly, by the 10th of every month. Please see "fees" section below regarding late payments.
Redwood Campus: Tuition is higher than at Creekside (A.M. Care is the same rate).
Monday Reduction: Tuition is reduced by $10 per month for 2- & 3-day-a-week schedules that include Monday (often a holiday).
Parent Co-op: Tuition is reduced by $100 if a parent assists in the classroom in our Co-op option from 8:45 – 1:15 one day a week, every week.
Special Closures: We follow the Twin Hills USD schedule for holidays, breaks, and unscheduled closures, as part of our lease agreement. If Twin Hills USD decides to close Apple Blossom School for flooding, fire, smoke, or any other reason, both of our campuses are closed as well. We regret that we are not able to give tuition refunds for these closures.
Effective August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027; rates may change with 30 days' notice

Late Pick-Up Policy:
Tree House Hollow values the time of our staff, children, and families. Children can experience stress when picked up after the end of their program day, and late pick-ups require staff to remain on duty beyond their scheduled hours. Late pick-ups during the mid-day times (1pm & 3pm) are equally challenging since it affects staff lunches and end of shifts when our ratios depend on the scheduled amount of students in attendance.
Families are expected to arrive before the published program end time. If a parent or authorized pick-up person anticipates being late, they must contact the campus phone by text or phone call as soon as possible with their child's name, reason for the delay, and estimated arrival time (ETA).
Late Pick-Up Fees
First unexcused late pick-up:
Warning and review of this policy
Subsequent unexcused late pick-ups:
1–15 minutes late: $20 fee
More than 15 minutes late: $50 fee
Fees will be added to the family's next invoice.
We recognize that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances occasionally occur. Examples may include:
Traffic accidents
Unexpected road closures or detours
Medical emergencies
Vehicle breakdowns
Severe weather
Examples that are generally not considered excused include:
Forgetting pick-up time
Errands or personal appointments
Work meetings or scheduling conflicts
Typical or foreseeable traffic delays (for example: regular traffic at Apple Blossom release times)
These examples are not exhaustive.
Because it is impossible to anticipate every circumstance, the Director may waive fees for occasional late pick-ups caused by circumstances beyond a family's reasonable control. However, repeated late pick-ups may be considered a chronic pattern regardless of the reason provided.
Any waived late fee will be documented in writing, including the reason for the waiver, to help ensure consistent and equitable application of this policy across all families.
If a pattern of chronic late pick-up develops, the Director may require a meeting with the family and may assess fees regardless of individual circumstances. The goal of this policy is to distinguish between occasional emergencies and ongoing scheduling challenges, while applying expectations fairly and consistently for all families.
Late Tuition Payment (1–7 days): First late payment of the school year: Reminder, no penalty; Second late payment of the school year: $20 automatic late fee; Third late payment of the school year: $40 automatic late fee; Fourth late payment of the school year: $60 automatic late fee; Fifth late payment of the school year: $80 automatic late fee. You may be asked to leave the program for chronic late payment.
Insufficient Funds: $25.00
For online invoicing and payments, we use Bill.com online payments. We have enabled electronic bank transfer only for our families.
You can establish a customer portal in the Bill system when you receive your first invoice, and save your bank account number for transfers, or schedule automatic payments.
Assistance with tuition is available on a limited basis; in some years, we do not have sufficient income to support scholarships. Assistance is based on financial need. We encourage you to inquire whether assistance is available, if you are unable to attend without this help. Our resources are very limited so we urge you to appeal to family members who might be willing to contribute as well. There are also community programs that assist with tuition; please let the Executive Director know if you need help with this.
