The Communications team creates the Translation Commons content, including our website, industry-related blogs, social media posts, and newsletters.
We oversee internal communications, the organization’s news, and we update our volunteers. We advance Translation Common’s mission, vision, and programs, while elucidating all programs and resources for both internal and external users. We formulate external messages faithful to the TC’s brand, sharing our programs and values with the rest of the world. We work with the rest of the organization to develop relevant content to reflect the brand’s image. We create style guides and handbooks for our content creators highlighting presentation and writing skills.
This team emphasizes writing skills, an area especially beneficial to translators.We are the bridge between Translation Commons, the broader language industry, and all interested parties.
