We use an Informed Consent (IC) model for providing letters of access to gender affirming care. At TCS, we believe in reducing the barriers to acquiring these letters. For ongoing clients, there is never an additional cost for the IC letter. For clients who are not in need of ongoing care, each of our full-time providers have taken the GALAP Project pledge. This means we keep a number of pro-bono (free) slots for clients who need IC letters only.
For more information about the Informed Consent model and process see the WPATH Standards of Care.
