We plan to revisit some of these locations this year on the 'Country to Coast' Tour.
Concert 1: Gwynneville Public School. A fantastic start to the tour with a wonderful audience and our pro tour crew hard at work! Note our new saxophone stand: Miss Boyle.
Concert 2: Figtree Heights Public School, surrounded by beautiful murals and lovely people. This place definitely deserves the title of 'Heights' with steep, challenging roads for our coach.
On the road again
Concert 3: Gerringong Public School. Limited space and a tired band, but another entertaining performance to end our first day of tour.
Chittick Lodge. Time to relax after a huge day of travel and music. Basketball, giant chess, volleyball, afternoon tea, volleyball, totem ball games, volleyball and dinner.
Trivia and games night. Randomised teams and intense competition. Meanwhile: Mr Rowland prepares new music.
Morning, Day Two. Super tired. Buffet breakfast. Energised. Volleyball. More volleyball. Let's do this!
Back on the road
Concert 4: Blue Haven Retirement Village. A lovely, very appreciative audience, with joyful dancing. Beautiful surrounds and we were introduced to a lady celebrating her 100th birthday. Also, 'Mafia', THE bus game of tour, is taken to the garden.
Concert 5: Heathcote East Public School: Final concert of a very successful band tour. A small but enthusiastic school with a love of French Horns and Indiana Jones. Final game of Tetris for the Band Tour roadies.
Taken at Heathcote East: What a bunch of superstars! Congratulations Performance Band 2023!
