Highlights of 'Country to Coast' Band Tour 2025.

Let the fun begin! Bright and early Wednesday morning. - The roadies starting their game of 'Van Tetris' and a glimpse inside the Tour Bus

Concert 1: Bowral Public School. A fantastic start to the tour. We combined with Bowral's band of 20 students for a workshop and combined performance of two songs, followed by TPS band.

Concerts 2/3: Tallong Public School, a school of only 50 students. They were joined by even smaller local schools Wingello (26 students) and Penrose (14 students) for a musical event with two concerts and a lunch kindly catered by Tallong.

Accommodation: Chittick Lodge, Gerringong. A range of recreation games and ice cream sandwiches for dessert.

Trivia Night: Name the characters, famous people, landmarks, musical instruments, song lyrics,... There was a tie for first place; the prize was first in line at breakfast.

Concert 4: North Nowra Public School. An outdoor concert with excellent weather. The principal took particular interest in the percussion and tried a few of the instruments.

Lunch stop: Boongaree Nature Park, Berry.  Hamster wheels, swings, slides, a flying fox... so much to do!

Concert 5: Blue Haven Retirement Village. A longer concert for a lovely, very appreciative audience. There was even an impromptu performance of Happy Birthday for one resident turning 89.
