異文化理解プログラム（大使リレー・国際シンポジウム）

大使リレー　Ambassador Relay Lecture

国際地域学科では、駐日大使をお招きし、それぞれの国の地域情勢や経済、文化について英語で講演いただくリレー形式の講義「大使リレー」を実施しています。これは国際地域学部時代から続く人気プログラムです。学生は講義を通じて異文化理解を深め、価値観や文化、政治・経済の違いを直接体感するとともに、国際関係の最前線に触れて視野を広げます。

The Department of Regional Development Studies offers a unique lecture series called the “Ambassador Relay Lecture,” in which ambassadors to Japan are invited to give talks in English on the regional affairs, economy, and culture of their respective countries. This popular program has been continued since the days of the former Faculty of Regional Development Studies. Through these lectures, students deepen their intercultural understanding, experience differences in values, cultures, and political and economic systems firsthand, and broaden their global perspectives by engaging with the forefront of international relations.

国際学部では、これまで多様な国際シンポジウムや学術交流イベントを開催してきました。これらの取り組みは、海外の大学や教育機関との連携を通じて、学生や教員が国際的な視点を養う貴重な機会となっています。

The Faculty of Global and Regional Studies has hosted a wide range of international symposiums and academic exchange events. These initiatives provide valuable opportunities for students and faculty members to develop a global perspective through collaboration with universities and educational institutions around the world.
