Young Musician 21st January

The first of this yearโ€™s Rotary Youth Competitions has taken place โ€“ The Rotary Club of Towcesterโ€™s heat was held on 21st January at Towcester Primary School. The all-day event attracted a number of young aspiring musicians from the age of 9 through to 16 in various age groups, The standard this year was extremely high giving our judges, Lincoln Noel and Alison Pargeter a very difficult job.

ย

This is the first step in Rotary GBLโ€™s annual Young Musicians Competition. The winners of the Towcester heat will go on to perform at the district heat, then on to a cluster heat and eventually the winners from that will then go on to perform at the national final on Sunday 21st April 2024 at Stoller Hall, Chethams School of Music in Manchester.

ย

So well done all of the Towcester entrants and congratulations to the eventual winners of the heat. Good luck in the district heat. The Rotary Club of Towcester will be supporting you.
