2nd graders set off the year with reading Geronimo Stilton adventure books and some LEGO challenges.
2nd Grade Seminar happens once per semester for 1 consecutive hour.
Our unit of study is Who's Who: A Study of Biography which is a Texas Performance Standards Project. In this interdisciplinary/ language arts unit, students explore and gain knowledge of famous people and how they used their gifts and talents to overcome challenges and become successful.

Time for Brain Challenges with an intro to Sudoku, algebraic puzzles, calendar math word problems, and number patterns to extend before and after.
