PRAXIS CORE AND CBEST COST & REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The decision of whether to take the Praxis Core or the CBEST is yours. Please pay attention to waiting period information below. We also recognize that cost may also be a factor in making your decision. Whatever path you decide to take, passing score reports dated after July 4, 2014 are required by July 3, 2024.
Note: If you are not successful on your first attempt, you must wait 21 calendar days from the date you took the test in order to retake a test or subtest. Please test early to give yourself as much time as possible to pass given this waiting period!
Note: If you are not successful on your first attempt, you must wait 45 calendar days from the date you took the test in order to retake a test or subtest. Please test early to give yourself as much time as possible to pass given this waiting period!
Note: Both Praxis and CBEST tests are offered in an at-home format that is proctored online. You can find this information on the Praxis and CBEST websites. If you choose this route, please ensure that you review the instructions carefully, as you must test in a room that is basically cleared out and they will want to see the room you are working in. They also use technology to view what is happening on your computer in order to guard against cheating.
Please note that all Fellows will have additional testing to complete at the conclusion of the program, which we will share more information about at a later date.
