About Managing Math Mind (and Anxiety)
The goal of this project is to give insights and activities to help make students math experience better and successful. The activities in this module are designed to introduce ways to practice and apply new thinking about math. Some material includes affirmations. Affirmations can help you shift to positive mental approaches to math and to build confidence. There is a section entitled "STOP" designed to help re-frame negative self-talk into more productive thinking. Mindfulness is a whole philosophy and one of the techniques presented in this module.
