Student Testimonials
- I have to say that I really enjoyed taking this class. At first I took it because it was a required class, but now I can see why it is. It forced me to dig a little deeper and discover areas of myself that I wanted to ignore and not deal with. I think this class really helped me to grow as a person.
-Dr. Purdy is a very intelligent professor, who is passionate about what she teaches. Her positive comments and feedback on our journals were very encouraging and supportive. It is evident that she cares about the success of her students, in school and in life. I liked that she took the time out to make these little videos at the end of every week to let us know how we did that week. She would tell us what we did right, and what we could improve on. We also did an activity where we talked about songs that gave us hope or motivation, and she compiled the list of songs into a document for us, which I thought was so thoughtful of her.
-I would definitely recommend this class to my friends, and I would most definitely recommend Dr.Purdy. This class was very pleasant. Thank you.
- The journals are sometimes overwhelming and the points are kinda low for the amount you had to do in some of the journals. this class wants you to go deep in explaining situations and sometimes what you may think is deep isn't deep for the one reading it which makes it hard. I would suggest this class to friends, but as a in person class its defiantly one you need to interact with.
- I love that the class had me dive deep into myself. I got a lot out of this course and really got to know myself a lot more. I'm glad I took this class!
