Our Curriculum

Children in the EYFS learn by playing and exploring, being active, and through creative and critical thinking which takes place both indoors and outside.

We always have a very busy fun filled week in Reception! Our week includes:

• A Music lesson delivered by our very talented school music teacher Mrs Vaughn

• PE - The class take part in PE lessons 1- 2 times a week. These lessons are taught by our specialised PE coaches

• Forest school sessions taught by our Forest school teacher

• Phonics - We currently use a daily phonics program called Little Wandle 

• Maths - We follow the White Rose Maths scheme

• Reading and Writing 

• Creative and Arts activities

• Plus lots and lots of time to play!
