Tiverton Academy Uniform.docxPlease remember that uniform is compulsory and our school uniform is:
Black or dark grey skirt/trousers/pinafore dress. Summer dresses can be worn in the Summer (blue and white)
White shirt or polo shirt.
School jumper or cardigan (with school logo).
Good fitting and functional black school shoes. (No trainers)
Hair accessories should be school colours (blue and white) and small in size.
(You will only need to buy the school logo jumpers and cardigans from Brigade - it's more economical to use supermarkets/shops for the rest of the school uniform)
No jewellery. Stud earrings are allowed, but no hoops or dangling earrings.

EVERYTHING that you have brought for your child must be labelled - including bags, shoes, coats, hats, scarves, underwear etc. Young children do misplace items of clothing and it is very difficult to find it if it is not named.
You will need a Tiverton Academy Book bag which can be purchased from the school office or online via the brigade schoolwear website and they are priced at around £6.50
Your child will need a water bottle with their name on.This bottle will be brought into school every day filled with fresh water only and taken home at the end of each day.

On the day of your child's birthday he/she is allowed to wear their own clothes to school for the whole day. Unfortunately we are not allowed to give out birthday cake due to health and safety food regulations.

If you have not already done so please could you bring your child’s birth certificate and/or their passport into the school office. This will be photocopied and kept in your child’s file.
For Birmingham City Council School Term dates please click the link term dates . Our school dates will differ slightly due to Teacher training days throughout the year.
