Autumn Term 2023: Week 7: 20/10/23

Week 7

What a busy and successful half term we have had at Tithe Farm. The children have really enjoyed cycle 1 of our curriculum (which will carry on after half term): People of the World. They have learnt about significant people and ancient civilisations across the world who have impacted on society today. Please see the dates on the calendar for our Oracy Endpoint week where our children will teach you about their learning.

Thank-you to everyone who has made a donation to come to in mufti today, we have raised over £300 which will go towards equipment on the playgrounds. This will support the children to continue to have active and fun playtimes.

We wish all of our families a restful half term and look forward to seeing you all back in school on Monday 30th October.

FOTF Disco

Thank-you to the Friends of Tithe Farm for an excellent Autumn Disco last night. The children all looked fabulous in their costumes and 'party clothes.' Mr Wiseby and Mr Hill were excellent DJs who ensured that the dance floor was full right up until the last dance.

This event has raised over £700 which is an amazing amount for the first event run by our newly formed group.

After half term, there will be further events, including a doughnut sale on Friday 3rd November at the end of the school day - more information will follow.

Our whole school target for attendance is 97%. We have a number of classes who are achieving this. Let's see if we can reach or even exceed our target next half term.
