Afterward, we took a bus to a local food court and tried the variety of regional dishes. Our next stop was at Chinatown, where students were given plenty of time to shop for souvenirs. Following this we took another bus to the Singapore Cultural Centre to look and appreciate the history and customs of the community in a fun and interactive way. To end the day off, we traveled to a Mediterranean restaurant called Cappadocia for dinner where students were served many of their delicacies, where students were also offered additional options; shopping time before we returned back to our hotels. - By Ray Qiu

On Thursday during our Singapore trip, we joined a fun cooking class teaching us about Nasi Lemak from 9:30 to 12:30. We learned to cook and had to use knives carefully. We ate the lunch we made ourselves. After that, at 1:00, we took a traditional bumboat ride and visited Merlion Park, where we saw the famous Merlion statue and Central Singapore's beautiful skyscrapers and buildings. We then took some good photos with Mr. Dickson. In the evening, we went to the Night Safari. We had dinner at the Safari Food Court and then saw many nocturnal animals in the dark. It was an exciting day full of cooking, boat riding, and seeing wild animals at night. What a great way to end our final full day in Singapore! - By Jonathan Chow
