Get Involved

How to get involved

There are many ways to get involved with the school and to make suggestions. Here are some:

1. Come along to our many parent events such as:

2. Make a suggestion at the school gate (all class teachers are available in the school playground/entrance before and after school or send us an email palgrave@tilian.org.uk

3. Complete the annual questionnaire and add suggestions for how we can improve the school

4. Join FOPS (the Friends association) to help raise much needed funds for the school - see below

5. Volunteer - if you can spare the time this will help our pupils and also give you an idea of how the school works (you will be required to complete a volunteers application form and go through our standard safeguarding checks). Please contact the office for further information.

FOPS (Friends of Palgrave School)

Palgrave is supported by a fantastic team of parents and helpers who make up our Friends association. The FOPS meet on a regular basis and have their own face book page to share ideas, exchange uniforms or ask any questions. You can also email them direct. friendsofpalgraveschool@gmail.com

Parent Voice

We are very keen that parents are involved in school life. Occasionally there may be problems and if so, we would like to hear about them immediately so we can look into the situation and hopefully resolve it.

If you have any suggestions for improvements that we could make please email or call the office (01379 642507). Parents' annual questionnaire and surveys are also used to increase home/school communication. Alternatively, you could always write your suggestion and place it in our letterbox which is situated outside the main entrance.
