1. Create a simple Venn diagram with three overlapping circles. Label the circles 'library,' 'school,' and 'district.' Review your Leadership Conversation Portfolio and your school and district strategic plans. Consider the following questions:
What are the main areas of focus for your district or system?
What are the main areas of focus for your school?
What are the main areas of focus for your library program?
Are these the same or different? Are there areas that overlap?
What are some questions or areas needing clarification when you talk to your administrator?
2. Identify 1 or 2 areas of promise in which there might be alignment between your library practice/program and school or district priorities. Make a note of these in your Leadership Conversation Portfolio. In some cases, these areas might include existing expertise, projects, or work. It may also be an area in which you have interest or a desire to lead, but haven't done so yet. It may also be an area in which you would need additional learning or collaboration to be successful.
3. In the Facebook Group, post a 'promising partnership opportunity' with your colleagues.
