United States History 11 is a one year required course credit for the Social Studies Curriculum. This course picks up where students left off in United States History from the 8th grade. The course covers from The Civil War and continues to modern times. In this course students will look at American History through the lense of politics, culture, government, conflict, social effects, and geographical history. Students will be assessed in this course through exams, essays, projects, using primary and secondary source documentation, and classroom activities.Â
