Ap Euro

Ap European History is a year long elective that students can choose to take as seniors. This class follows the material that college board requires for the AP European History test. When students take the class they will then take the test at the end of the year typically in May. If students recieve a score of a 3 or higher on the test then they can use this as credits toward a college course. The class covers all European history topics from the Renaissance until modern day. This class utilizes the knowledge of historical events, but also the preperation needed in reading, analyzing, and explaining primary and secondary sources to be able to do well on the AP exam. The exam consists of mullitple choice, short answer, long essay, and document based questions, all of which students are prepared for during the class.
