Economics is a semester course that students need to graduate. Typically this course is taken second semester senior year. Students in this course study money, stocks, supply and demand, different types of economies, the up and down turns of the stock market, and things that effect money and its value. During this course students play a stock market game, work on creating companies, and as well as class activities and exams. Students learn the value and management of money as well as its importance to a global economy.
