AP U.S. History

This course is an option for students in the 11th grade to complete the required United States History requirement. This is a year long course where students will cover all of American History from the origins of native people to current times. Students who take this course will be learing skills to hep them on the AP United States history exam in May. Students who take the exam and recieve a score of 3 or higher will be able to use that toward course credit for a college American History course. Students will meet all college board required topics throughout the year learning how to use primary and secondary sources and various reading and writing activities to prepare them for the exam. The exam contains multiple choice, short answer, long essay, and document based questions they must complete.
