Storing Information & Encryption Policy

Sensitive system documementation / information must not be sent outside of the ThingLogix network by standard e-mail unless it is encrypted. Google Drive must be used to store files.

Google Drive uses AES-256 to protect file transfers, and AES-128 to encrypt your files at rest.

If needed use document encryption using password or certificates should be used where applicable.

If customer requests use:

• Microsoft Office password protection is a security feature to protect Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) documents with a user-provided password (compex password must be used)
• Use Apple’s Built-in Features to Encrypt Files and Folders using a complex password.
