Our Writing For Race Equity Campaign is based on the fact that hand writing postcards is one of THE most effective ways to make our voices heard to elected officials. For maximum impact, our Campaign Strategy is structured so that each of five identified government officials will receive two postcards from your whole group, covering several different aspects of police reform, in a two-week period.

In the first week of postcard mailing, each Participant will send one postcard each weekday to one of the five government officials determined in advance by your Organizer. (Participants will base their message content on their choice of one of the Message Templates A-E provided.) That’s five postcards.

In the second week, each Participant will send one postcard each weekday to each of the same five government officials. (Participants will base their message content for these five postcards on their choice of a different one of the Message Templates A-E provided.) That’s another five postcards.
