Follow the Steps Below to Earn a Utah Driver’s License:
Visit DLD (Driver License Division) in Vernal to take the online test ($19), vision test, and earn Learner’s Permit
Take online Driver’s Ed. course at Wright website below right ($50) or Utah Online School (free)-Summer Enrollment Open for Utah Online until June 10, 2022
Sign up for drives by calling or texting 385.999.2424 ($225); complete 6 total hours of driving/observing; all drives in Vernal and surrounding area
Take required written test for Wright Driving School in Vernal (before your third drive/observation) test taken via course through Utah Online School
Complete safety trends test for the state of Utah online
(https://secure.utah.gov/dlexams/); free
Arrange appointment with DLD to take the final driving test in Vernal, Roosevelt, or other location in Utah ($39-payable to the DLD)
