Contract Position (1099) - Bachelor's Degree or professional experience

• Seeking teaching artists from any artistic or creative background that has experience working with children 

• Previous experience in pre-schools, K-12 public/private schools or other community arts and cultural venues or educational programs

• Must be 21 years old or older

• Must have current clearances (PSP Criminal Background, PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprint) and Mandated Reporter Certificate

• Submit a resume along with a sample class syllabus

• References required after initial interview

• School Year: Per Session Commitment (Weekly Class in Fall, Winter, Spring)

• Summer Camp: Weekly Commitment per Theme (Mon - Fri)

• School's Out: Day-long camps when school's are off for kids K-5

• Day-long camp program when local school districts are closed

• 8:00-4:30pm

• • Must commit to full week Monday - Friday for week(s) scheduled

  • Priority to candidates who can commit to 3 or more weeks, ideally consecutive. Will look for staff who can work at the end of August first.

Volunteer Position - 13 & 14 years old

• Must commit to full week Monday - Friday for week scheduled

• Full-day Shift (8:00-4:30pm)

• Priority to candidates who can commit up to 3 weeks, ideally consecutive weeks. Will look for staff who can work at the end of August first. 

• Two locations: Swarthmore & Media

• Application and interview required
