A keystone species is a species that has a disproportionately large effect in the communities in which it lives.
This assignment focused on mangrove trees which are disappearing at an alarming speed. The students needed to design a flyer or poster that informed coastal communities about the benefits of mangrove forest and encouraged their conservation.
