Environmental Science is…
The study of ecology as well as focusing on how humans affect the environment and ways to address environmental problems.
An interdisciplinary approach- involves biology, chemistry, earth science, economics, and political science
This year the High School Science class is studying Environmental Science. We started the year with an Introduction to Environmental Science. We looked at Human Interactions on the environment, our individual ecological footprint, the Tragedy of Commons, Scientific Processes, Environmental Decision Making, and Environmental policies.
Our main focus has been studying the Biosphere (the portion of the Earth where life is found)
