As part of our first ELA unit all students read Kwame Alexander's book THE CROSSOVER.   

We were part of a virtual Author Talk with Kwame Alexander and Jason Reynolds.  

We learned about generating new ideas for our writing, and Kwame Alexander read some of the book for us.
