The inspiration for my collage comes from all the things I love. Like I love pancakes so I added pancakes. Then I would find things that looked cool .Like the fighter jets. There weren't that many clothes I could find that I liked so that's why I added other things.

For my fashion project I designed a capsule wardrobe for a college senior going to Loudon over the holidays . This young woman is headed to London for 7 days before heading home for Christmas , she their to visit her friend she met studying abroad. Her itinerary is full of gift shopping around Loudon , going to as many Christmas markets as possible, going to restaurants , a formal holiday dinner, and seeing all of her friends. She is a business major at a college in New England. Her hoodies include photography , knitting , pottery , embroidery for exercises she runs, swims, yoga and Pilates . She works as a barista at her college coffee shop. Her personality is very easy going, kind and energetic, she can be described as type B and just like this Trip a lot of things she does are last minute. I have design 7 Items of clothes that she can wear interchangeably all throughout her trip , The items are a pair of medium wash jeans, a black cardigan, a green top, a tiered mesh skirt, chunky knit sweater and a winter coat., Espaliers and shoes are unlimited. Hopefully she has a good, stylish trip.
My inspiration for this project was the summer festivals in Japan, which got me thinking about what one would wear for a summer in Tokyo. We were then given this project, and it took off from there. I decided that when someone went to a summer festival, they should wear a traditional Japanese Yukata robe. I made a design based on the native koi, a singular article of clothing. I then made some basic outfits using the combination of a windbreaker and 2 t-shirts. The T-shirts come with stickers to change the front or back of it. I mostly used Japanese symbols and made a design that said " nightlife " in Japanese. For pants, I made a sort of cargo pants with a button on the inside to hitch it up making it into cargo shorts. To go with the Yukata we have some bamboo sandals. With the other outfits, we have some sneakers that are miscolored just a bit more color. The outfits above can keep someone warm and cool throughout the times of the Tokyo nights and days. It’s practical outfits that blend modern and traditional fashion.
