Check-Out Time

• Anytime between 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM. All students must be checked out by 10:00am, per MIT's policy.

Check-Out Location

• Check-Out location will be announced and posted in Spring 2026. All related materials will be updated once the location is confirmed.

• In accordance with MIT policy and the Summer Springboard check-in process, parents are not permitted inside the dormitories during check-out. Students will go through the check-out process and bring their belongings outside of their rooms.

Residential Check-Out Notes

• Families will be charged $200 for any keys or swipe cards not returned on check-out day. It is the student's responsibility to return their keys before leaving campus.

• Students will be charged to any damages to their rooms.

• In accordance with MIT policy and the Summer Springboard check-out process, parents are not permitted inside the dormitories during check-out.

Commuter Check-Out Notes

Commuter Students will have their final check out on the last Thursday after the Soirée, location to be confirmed by our onsite staff.
