Teachers need to help students to be able to understand when they need to look deeper at a word. There are 4 reasons to spend time looking at a word.

4 Reasons to Look Deeper at a Word

1. I don’t understand the word

2. I have seen the word a lot recently and I want to understand it better.

3. The word is used in a different context than what I am used to.

4. The word is interesting or unique to me.
