RECITATIONS 

Traditionally, all TPS lower school students are required to memorize and recite one or two (long) recitations each quarter. The recitations are then performed, as a grade level, at the quarterly Awards Assembly. In TK, we do not have formal awards assemblies. For our recitations, we learn a new nursery rhyme every week. The nursery rhyme is taught through music and includes hand motions. Each quarter, we will perform several of these nursery rhyme songs for our families.
