Dear TPS TK Families,

I am very excited to be a part of Temecula Preparatory School. I have been a teacher for over 20 years, and I have been at TPS since 2018. I received my Bachelors Degree from UC San Diego and my teaching credential and Masters Degree from Claremont Graduate School. Mrs. Del Rio will be our full-time aide in the classroom, and she has been at TPS since 2002. We both love working at TPS and the school's approach to a classical education.

TK is a magical grade filled with exploration, growth, and development. It is an exciting time in your child's life as they attend elementary school for the first time. TK is the first part of a two year kindergarten program. It is play-based and developmentally appropriate for 3-5 year old students. We spend a great deal of time working on social-emotional growth and development, as well as fine motor and gross motor skills. We do most of our learning through small group centers and exploration. I know that by working together, as parents and teachers, we will make this year very successful for your child. We will instill a love of learning and watch in amazement at the incredible social, physical, and academic growth that we will witness in your child.
