About Ms. Butler
Ms. Butler is a certified Dance educator in New Jersey, who has been dancing most of her life. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with minors in dance and Spanish, she went on to earn a Master’s degree in Dance Education from NYU. During her time there and in the years since she has been blessed to perform in New Jersey, New York City, and internationally with people of all ages and skill levels.
As a teacher Ms. Butler is constantly encountering students who are not sure how they will fare with dance. But she enjoys watching the uncertainty melt away as those students cultivate an appreciation for movement as an expressive art form and take the stage in performance. She started a company, On the Move as a result of wanting to bring dance to the community in a new and engaging format. The power that dance has to bring people together is something Ms. Butler does not intend to let go to waste.
